Worked as Project Scientist (Programmer) at the Forest Survey of India, Dehradun, where responsibilities included leading the development and maintenance of web-based systems, website management, API integration, and enterprise-level data management. Played a key role in managing the National Forest Fire Monitoring System, coordinating satellite-based fire alerts using Aqua and Terra satellites to support real-time forest fire detection and reporting across the country. Served as Project Consultant at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, managing Office Automation and the Academic Information System portal. Responsibilities included database administration, RESTful API integration, data analytics, dashboard development, and server configuration. Managed CMS-based websites, website hosting, and DigiLocker data integration for academic records. Provided IT infrastructure support, coordinated academic data workflows, conducted staff training sessions, and ensured smooth functioning of institutional digital platforms. Played an important role in improving operational efficiency through process automation and structured data management.
Previously worked as Technical Executive (IT Management) at the Institute Computer Centre, IIT Roorkee, where responsibilities included managing Scientific and Engineering Computing Lab operations, software installation, troubleshooting, and supervising technical staff shifts. Provided IT infrastructure support for campus recruitment online examinations and managed CMS platforms, social media updates, and virtual meeting platforms such as Webex and Google Meet.
Also served as Technical Assistant at the Institute Computer Centre, IIT Roorkee, supporting management of scientific computer labs and IT systems. Responsibilities included data management using MS Access and MS SQL Server, creation and maintenance of FTP servers (NAS), development and maintenance of local websites, and installation, configuration, and testing of scientific software.
